Are you thinking of new ideas for decorating your house for Christmas? How many times have you seen homes that hang wreaths out of their window? Did you ever wonder why they do not fall? Wire wreaths are the best to use because they are easy to store and easy to reshape. In order to hang the wreaths out of the window you should use velvet ribbon. On the back of the wreath, put the ribbon through the wire and wrap around once. In other words, cut one strip of ribbon. When inserting through wire make sure both ends of the ribbon are together. This will make it easy to hold onto as you position the wreath in the window. First, you must decide if you want to hang the wreath from the middle of the window or the top. This will, of course, depend on the type and style of window you have.

So, let’s give this a try. Raise window enough to slide the wreath outside. As you are holding the ribbon, pull the ribbon towards you. This will bring the wreath closer to the top or center of window. Once you have accomplished this, carefully close the window. Viola!

Decorating a Christmas is hard work, but worth the effort. There are so many things that you can include on the Christmas tree, especially if it is artificial. Inserting medium-sized silk poinsettias in between the Christmas branches will brighten the tree and bring it life. Just be careful and do not go overboard. Another idea is to have a Christmas fun tree in the house. This is a tree that has memorable decorations or decorations that are interesting and fun. For instance, you may to include lights that consist of Dalmatians. You could also include ornaments that your children, relatives, or friends have given you as gifts. These are things that you want to treasure and this would be a great way to do just that. Wouldn’t they be impressed when they come to visit during the holidays?

Decorating artificial plants/trees can be fun. Add red and white birds to a few of your artificial plants/trees and see the difference. If you feel you still need to liven up the tree, add a medium-sized red bow to the bottom of the plant. Another idea is to put small red bows on the artificial plants.

Another suggestion is to wrap garland around any large mirrors that you have in your home. You can add small red berries throughout the garden to create a conversation piece for any room in the house. To provide color to this creation, add a medium-sized bow to each side of the mirror.

I would recommend wrapping your staircase with wire garland instead of the flimsy garland. The wire garland is easier to drape and also wrap around the railings. Usually, it is best to drape or scallop the garland. It is dangerous to wrap the garland around the railing because it is difficult to hold onto as you walk up or down the stairs. Once again, putting medium-sized red bows at every peak will brighten your foyer or hallway.
